The Secret Organization is set to exert significant influence in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the major clash won’t unfold until the third season, and a cherished, popular member has now been chosen.
Netflix announced this week that the skilled actor is now part of the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Mr. 2. Bon Clay has the ability to morph into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their dominant hand. The actor, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will depict a interpretation of that character reinterpreted as non-binary, instead of as a drag queen, in the live-action series, unlike the initial comic and anime.
Escola will work alongside a number of new cast members who will portray Baroque Works to reality, including chief Mr. 0, portrayed by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who will appear as the lineup as the ruler of the fictional land.
Although Bon Clay is a key figure of the group, the character won’t make their debut One Piece the third season. Given the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this signals a notable change in the timing of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest further changes to the narrative framework.
Escola’s blend of excellent comedic sense and emotional depth makes them a perfect fit for the part. Besides their recent voice performance in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and multiple awards for creating and performing in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, emphasizing the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s highly regarded figures.
The platform’s adapted One Piece series is due to premiere for its next installment on March 10th, 2026.
