Mikel Arteta Fears Injury Crisis Could Undermine Arsenal's Trophy Hunt
Arsenal's manager has voiced fears that his team's chase for honors this campaign is being threatened by a concerning circle of fitness setbacks and a grueling schedule.

Arteta rejected the suggestion that training intensity were to culprit, pointing to a lack of time for drills. He emphasized the pressure on available players, some of whom have played over 150 matches in two years.
Transfer Plans
Even after a significant summer spend exceeding £250 million, Arteta stated the club is not looking to enter the January transfer market.
"At the moment we're just concentrating on getting the players back and hopefully it will be a question of weeks," he commented. "It's clear how crucial those coming weeks are going to be."
Next Challenge
The team suffered their first defeat in 18 games at the hands of Aston Villa, cutting their advantage at the top of the Premier League to two points.
Attention now shifts to the European stage, where a sixth consecutive group victory would virtually secure a knockout phase place. Winger Gabriel Martinelli could make a club record by finding the net in a fifth consecutive European fixture.
"We are frustrated with the outcome, but we have to move forward," he said. "This isn't like everything is going badly because we lost one game. So we stick together."
